Wrangler LJ rumors

Some new rumors about the 2017 Jeep Wrangler LJ (the JK's replacement) have come out. This time there are said to be three new top choices:

“Our source has told us the traditional soft top will be replaced by powered soft top panels that fold down. There will be an optional hardtop glass panel resembling a panoramic sunroof but likely to not be completely unobstructed view due to the substructure. The next Wrangler will also come in a true 3-piece steel roof hardtop.”


The glass hardtop may look something like this (just a photoshop mockup, not the real thing)



I like the *option* of a powered soft top, but I hope Jeep allows us to choose between manual or automatic soft tops.

To add to the rumors, apparently there are some spy shots out now of a 300HP turbo inline four cylinder engine that will be an option for Wranglers
