I'm starting to let my 9 year old watch some of my favorite PG and under movies, and it's really cool. He's watched movies like The Princess Bride, and Ghostbusters. Anyone have any suggestions of good oldish movies that would be appropriate?

So we watched Karate Kid - he loved that.
We tried Star Wars a year or two ago, and when they went to the Catina and Obi-Wan cut that guys hand off, my son said "Nope Dad, this isn't my type of movie"..
I'm gonna add Gonnies to the list. That was pretty good.
I've never seen Sandlot myself, so I'll have to check that out.

I forgot, we did Home Alone - it blew his mind, and he was setting traps all over the house for me. It was pretty funny.
I haven't seen all of Harry Potter yet, but I may start those movies as a family.
