I've been looking for a winch for a while now. And I also didn't want to spend a whole bunch of money. I ended up going with a Ramsey, it was cheap and it is a know company.

my ramsey has (is) a GREAT winch it has always pulled my out, and even pulled out fullsize trucks.... ramsey is just as good winch as warn, just doesnt have the name

I would contact the seller and get a brand name and do some more research! Fr all we know it is a worn winch or perhaps a worm winch!!

Just doesn't look like a warn, has similar product numbers though 8000/9000

sorry i didn't post the warn link, i was in a rush and now i can't find it. that was another link some people were gonna do a group buy i'm waiting to get the details, but $350 isn't that bad. i am still weary but i does have a one year manufacturers warranty. sorry if it was misleading....MY BAD
