Trading automatic transmission for manual

Have an 05 jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon, and an looking for someone who is wanting to trade their manual transmission for my automatic. In located in hot springs arkansas.

From what I've read on posts and other sites, its a very expensive swap. Computer-electronics, wiring harness, petals, etc. Not recomended.

Also check on your local state laws regarding the conversion. It is illegal in some states due to emission regulations. I know what your thinking, what does that have to do with the conversion. When a vehicle is built with an automatic transmission, it will produce a different amount of emission than the one built with a manual transmission. The adjustments are made through the computer and emissions hardware to pass the standard testing. In this case, if the state has no emission testing , there is no way they can see if the vehicle will pass or fail such test therefore doesn't allow the conversion to be legal.
