Worked on putting the YJ back together today, my buddy got the wiring sorted while I got a new radiator, hoses and the steering wrapped up.

Done enough lol, runs good after some starter spacer issues. Still need to install a few parts but I’m delivering to my dad so he can enjoy it for a couple of weeks.

I really like the green color you picked. It really pops with the black. You have put a lot of work into this. I bet your dad is going to be stoked when you drop it off. Awesome work Eric. I wish I could have done something like this for my dad.

Thank you very much! He was very happy, also happy he can drive it (47 years of factory work takes its toll), before he had problems.

My dad has been driving the YJ for a bit and noticed a couple of issues that needed addressing. Firstly the transfer case output seal was leaking so I knocked that out. Secondly the driver side brake hose rubbed the tire. I fixed that with a Teraflex universal brake anchor. Still have some more stuff to install when time allows but I figured I’d post an update.

Got a few things done over the past couple of weeks. Pulled the winch off his Cherokee (he?s getting rid of it) and put it the YJ. Added air horns and compressor. Started on the sound system. Added a new radio, and added a sound bar with lights. Have to install new dash speakers and finish installing the backup camera.
