i like to up-date the ignition system from the rexis system with 2.5 liter 1989 pick-up ....what the systems that work with T.B.I ?

HO 2.5L from '91 up (YJ, XJ and a few MJs) but you have to upgrade the EFI to MPFI and the good part is it's all under the hood!

If your coil is weak you could upgrade to coil to screaming demon coil, or use a newer +91 Jeep coil with a performance distributors wiring adapter.

4.0 Firepower Ignition Kit

Upgrade the filter to a performance intake or a free flowing air filter. A better flowing exhaust would help some.

There are some higher flowing TBI injectors and TBI throttle bodies; say from a GM motor. Both Jeep and GM injectors are very simular.

You may need to then change to a hotter or colder spark plug depending on how hot the ignition and or fuel richness.

These would be direct replacements with no major wiring to deal with.
