My jeep is sputtering

So i gave it and oil change, and i did a tune up. and my jeep is still sputtering specially when i put it in reverse, and also when i come to a complete stop. could it be that i need a fuel injection clean clean up?

So, What year model jeep? What did you do for a tune up. Manual or automatic? Oh and was it doing this before the tune up?

Its a 97 tj, and for the tune up i changed the spark plugs,wires, and the air filter i want it to change the dist cap and rotor but my mechanic said they were good so no need to change them. and the sputtering started before the tune up and its still going on. what do you think its the problem?

It’s likely the IAC. Clean the throttle body and IAC well and be sure to tighten it back down without damaging the gasket or replace it. Injector cleaner never hurts and distributor caps and rotors are not that expensive. But I’d clean the TB & IAC then see where you are.
