Hey there, it sounds like I have a lifter going on my 99 TJ 2.5l 5 speed. I'm
Wondering has anyone on here ever adjusted theirs? If so is it an easy job?

Don't think there is such a thing as adjusting your valves with hydraulic lifters, pretty sure they're set and forget.

If you have an orange filter on your motor, it's starving for oil on start up (likely) because they have no anti-drainback valve AND tend to collapse internally. If the lifter is clogged, it will clack. I put in engine restore or engine oil detergent to get rid of the clacks.
