350 tbi project

I 've been asking questions on someone else thread and it was getting confussing so I started this one. I've got a :

85 CJ7
350 motor
700R4 transmission
Dana 300 Tranfer case

I'm using Novak trans to transfer case adapter and engine mounts

Questions :???:

1.My front drive shaft is going to hit the transmission,how do I stop that?

2.The passenger side engine mount hits the bump stop for the axle, is that correct?

Yeah it was my thread sorry if it confused you to much, I have one answer for your driveshaft and transmission problem. You'll have to get shorter drive shafts I think and I'm pretty sure Tom woods makes really good ones.

No problem, I didn't want interfer with your thread. The legnth seams to be ok. The two yokes are aligned but the transmission is in the way:???:

You've got a few options, like moving the engine towards the driver's side, having the driveshaft rebuilt with a smaller diameter tube, and clocking the transfer case front output downward.

I have a 350 TBI in my 91 YJ, same tub and frame dimensions as your 7. I used an SM465 with the Dana 300. I can take some photo's if you like on how it sits in there.

Ok here are a couple of the 350 in my 91YJ. It smogs as a 93 chevy truck.

Let me know if you need photo's of anything specific
