On a TJ I couldn't get the socket to seat and the pan lip was pushed in some. I lightly tapped a socket to push the lip back out, it would be hard to do on the back though, maybe try a 1/4 drive for a thinner walled socket, shouldn't have much torque on them. I didn't have a problem with the...
I just use socket and long extension. Helped a buddy and had a issue with a side one, ended up it was stripped And instead of cork or rubber gasket it was rtv. Once seal was broken pan came right off.
Most likely it's the crankshaft position sensor if it's turning over but not firing. Located top of bell housing behind engine block on drive side. This sensor won't toss a code when they go bad
I would check to make sure your clutch fan in engaging and the electric one should kick on with either a/c on or when temp gets around 217. If it's not the fan could be bad or the temp sensor could be bad. You could tap into the electric fan w/ a relay and add a switch to override. should work...
This is true, cooler = mpg but to cool can actually hurt you total performance too. Is your set-up all stock? You could always use a relay and adj. thermostat - tie into the a/c electric fan and have it come on at a lower temp before clutch fan ever actually engages. If you have the AW4 auto...
