Ok,I'm freaking out. I had a whining noise and then found my power steering fluid had completely leaked out at the connection of the high pressure cooling hose and the power steering pump. Now I just found an article saying the it can cause severe engine and coolage fan damage...

I tried to tighten the end of the coolant hose that is leaking.It is as tight as it will go. It feels loose, it has play in it. Is there a gasket or something that could have deterioated making it loose? THe pic on the left is the connection that is leaking, about 4 o'clock from the yellow...

4.7 v8 engine I just posted photos in my gallery. One is a pic where the leak is coming from it looks gold because I was pointing the light on the leak. The other is the hose that is connected at the leak. It is metal on the ends.

This is where it is leaking. I'm pretty sure this the line going to the cooling fan for the powersteering fluid.

2003 grand cherokee v8 Ok, maybe I have just noticed this. Something is making this loud whining noise. Sounds like a jet engine reving up kind of, except it doesn't sound like the engine. It speeds up when I do. Is the transmission going?Only 60k miles on it. Any ideas?

2003 cherokee, code0455 large evap leak, replaced gas cap,checked what I could find of hoses. I have a weird slight knocking/tapping noise coming from the area between the gas cap and the rear bumper when the truck is running. Could this be causing the light to come on? Should I be worried...

I just wanted to thank you for posting this. I used the retrofit kit a few weeks ago and the blower had been weak ever since. I was contemplating installing a new motor, but it didn't make sense so I was trying to find an alternative solution. I switched the pins and now all in the world is good!
