My cherokee does that too...such a lame design not putting a switch on the light like every other car. I just put a switch in my front light so it doesn't come on when I open the door and I just took the bulb out of the rear light. [addsig]

Here in southern California there are tons of people with lifted 2x4's. I am in the process of lifting the front of my 97 XJ 2x4 6 inches. Desert racing is very popular here and 2x4's are just way easier to get massive amounts of travel out of. See some very capable 2x4s here...

Anyone done this on a 97+ 4.0L XJ? I need an empty port to put the sensor in and I can't use any of the factory coolant temperature sender holes because the computer needs those to function properly. Someone suggested putting a new hole in the thermostat housing next to the factory...
