I don't have an overflow bottle. If I let the jeep cool Down for about 10 minutes after driving it there is no boiling over but if I just shut it down right away it will. Could that still be the cap, or is it more of an overheating problem?

I recently replaced my 304 with an AMC 360 and now when I get done driving it on a hot day for more than 15 min. when I come to a stop and shut off the engine the coolant will boil over. Will a non-thermal fan clutch help or am I going to have to upgrade my radiator completely? Thanks

I am needing to buy the transmission in the next couple of days so if anybody has any information on weather or not I will have to alter my driveshafts it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Sorry, I am kinda new at this stuff. What exactly is it that I am looking for? Those pages give a lot of information that is a little over my head. The only differences I see is the overall transmission length is 1.8in longer on the Np435 and 1in less stick out length on the NP435. Any help...

All I have to say is you are a very lucky man. I suffer from what they call DFS (displaced fan syndrome) in which I am a die hard Red Sox fan but live in Missouri. Could you do me a favor a take some pics of your jeep in front of Fenway? Kind of an odd request, but I think it would be awesome...

Does anyone know anything about the T-10 transmission? I can't seem to find anything.

I am about ready to drop an AMC 360 in my 79 CJ-5. I currently have a T-150 trans. in it right now. My question is, is there a better transmission I should look for? My T-150 is bad, cost more to rebuild than buy used. I found a T-10 for sale for $125. Any suggestions? I also have the Dana 20...

Thanks for all the help. Do you guys know of anywhere I could get a 360 block for cheap? And if I were to buy a master rebuild kit, would that include everything I would need? Or is there more I would have to buy along with the master rebuild kit? Once again thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help I am going to check that today, due to nothing better to do. It will have to be done again when I get done rebuilding the new motor anyway. Oh well, it is something to do.
