Thanks for the info. So how would you put in a new crush sleeve and get the preloading the same as before? Maybe this is something that I should take to a shop and have done..... :cry:

I have a 99 Wrangler with 70k and the rear driveline seal is leaking at the dif. I have a Haynes book but is is not very clear and does not explain enough about the dana 35 pinion gear preloading. Anybody have any information on how difficult it is to change out this seal without messing up...
