I have a 2006 Jeep commander with 95,000 miles and I am currently averaging 260 miles on 1 tank of gas. Just curious what kind of mileage other commander owners are getting. I have the 4.7 V8 4wd with 29" tires and a 2" lift all the way around.
Hello everyone,
I recently noticed that my 2006 Jeep Commander "XK" has a completely torn boot and has been making a rattle noise and whining noise when braking. It has 95,000 miles on it so I decided to just replace the axle since it is only $69.00 at autozone. However I was wondering how much...
That's exactly what it is. It's spares that bolt on top of your strut making it 2" taller. However, Im thinking it lifted mine more that's why Im trying to find the stock height front and back from another commander owner.
I recently installed a 2" leveling kit on the front of my 2006 jeep commander to make it match the rear. I didn't take measurements pre- installation figuring it looked about 2" lower than the rear and it would be even as the kit stated. After installation I noticed that the front is now 1 1/4"...
I have a 2006 Jeep Commander with 78,000 miles and just today(11/21/2011) it started vibrating when I let off the gas pedal. It doesn't do it when I gas or brake, but when I let off it shakes and makes a bumping/fluttering type of noise. I tried putting it in 4 wheel low since it's always in 4...
I have a 2006 jeep commander and want to improve the gas mileage, how effective would a cold air intake be? Is there anything else I can do, or is it just best left alone?
The correct harness to use is the CHT-013bb, its kind of pricey but you will definitely have sound with it. It bypasses the factory amp(located under drink holder in the third row) and also works with the canbus system so everything functions perfectly. I bought mine at best buy for $109.99, and...
I figured it out. I was using the wrong wire harness. Everyone told me I needed the, metra xsvi6502 which doesent tell the can bus system to turn the amp on. After everyone's advice and some researching of my own i found out i needed chto01 which has a communication with the can bus that turns...
What's "hu"? You wrote, "hu wires" and I'm just wondering what it means. So your saying that if i unhook the factory speaker grounds and just leave the speaker positive connected it might produce sound?
Apparently, in order to get an aftermarket CD player in my 06 commander, i need to bypass the canbus system? Just got my Jeep commander back from an audio install company and they put my indash in and it worked.....but no sound!! I've been dealing with this for weeks, and I just want it done...
