Hey all, most recent update (and questions) as follows: I took the hard top off, pulled the windshield down, took off the door mounted mirrors... Remounted the mirrors thanks to th relocator brackets, and added speakers into the dash (none were there, the dash was off anyway). Now, the problem...

They are not normal torx, they have a pin or something in the middle... So now I need to go buy a set of something else? Anyone know the correct size for it? I really would prefer not to buy an entire set for something I am only going to use once... hopefully I'll be able to replace all the torx...

So I have a 91 yj... and the roll cage extends to the windshield... and those bars, that extend, are secured to the rest of the roll cage with some sort of securing device that I am unable to distinguish... What are they, how do I get them the hell off, and what special tool do I need?? Thanks...

thanks to all for the help... turns out the torx from the visors were what did it... Took those suckers out, and with a little muscle, the windshield came down! now time to change hinges and speakers... =)

its a 91... took off the 3 bolted interior brackets, and roll cage... pushing it with all force, not budging!

Hey all. Trying to install new speakers, and while at it, realized that the dash seems to be sandwiched between the body and windshield... So, I began removal of interior torx bolts and roll cage in order to fold down the windshield... I thought I got everything, but I can't budge the...

Few questions... What class hitch do I need for a 91 YJ? How big can I go with tires before I need to lift it? Do the mirror relocater brackets from quadratec or jc whitney work with 1/2 steel doors, or will I need to take them off every time I want to put the doors back on? What size...

I get a bunch of UTube posts, board posts on SVRider.com, posts on Jeepz.com, and on a tech forum
