    locker question

From what I can find, the carrier change is 3.73 and up for Dana 30, 3.55 and up for Dana 35.

No that should be fine. I think the switch is 3.73s for Dana 30s and 35s; anything less (numerically) will have a different weaker carrier than 3.73s and higher (numerically). Different diffs have different change-over numbers of course.

I did find the t-case spacers in a bag, so I actually do have those. A friend gave me his swaybar links and I am going to convert to a removable type (nut and bolt, top and bottom). The trac-bars I will take out and see what it feels like. Why is a dropped pitman arm not needed? I don't know...

    258 miss?

When did the miss pop up? Did it just happen one day, or was it once you switched over to the HEI? Could you have a vacuum leak somewhere?

    92 YJ won't start

I may have misinterpreted what you meant by "fire": spark and fire are very different things in my head. Clearly the fuel pump will not affect spark. Any luck with the auto shutdown? Sorry I'm of no help with it, but that might explain no spark and no fuel. Other wise you have two separate...

Awesome. I am about to start dismantling in the next couple days. I've been looking at the XJ front drive shaft conversion, and someone wrote in another thread to be sure it has a good ball-centering unit. How can one tell? Should you just assume its bad (I don't know what "it" is yet :) )...

    92 YJ won't start

If the pump isn't working, there will be no fuel for the fire, as it were. Not sure how loud they are in Jeeps.

    Finally fixed wobble

My rotors are not perfect, but I feel their wobble every time I hit the brake pedal. Were those original rotors? Could they have aged/worn so uneven to give you such problems? I hope that fixes it for you.

doors are suppose to come off!

x2. I got my doors removed because I knew they would (wash kid at a Jeep dealership a lifetime ago), but it was NOT easy. Anyone that wasn't sure would have quit or asked for help long before they saw progress.

Yeah, I thought about Dustin...the only problem for me is the shipping across the border :( I gotta eat the shipping cost which kind of sucks, but what do you do. I will post a couple pics of the 911 when I have a chance (i.e. get to my other computer).

    :)) thanks! ~$35 saved at minimum, $70 if I don't even need one ;)

Wow, this is all great information. I will try disconnecting everything (well, sway bars and trac bars) first and see if I am comfortable. I think my YJ handles like a bag of you know what, as my other ride is an old air-cooled 911. I don't have the YJ for its on road capabilities :)) If the...

I like the $29 idea, I think I'll pitch that and see what they say ;) I will definitely price out those components.

Thanks Kimberly, Maybe I should just call RC and see if they can send me the rest of the "kit" I bought :))
