Bringing back an old thread. Got it figured out. My exhaust heat shield was rubbing on the rear drive shaft. Jeep drives like a dream now.

I did the same thing I took a paint scrapper and chiped away all the loose lining. Then I cleaned with mineral spirits and sprayed entire tub bed liner spray from Walmart. It looked great and cover imperfections total cost me 25 bucks and about 2 hours for prep and spray in. Cost effective and...

I have that exact deck. Except I have a 39 buck box with two small subs and tweeters. Bolted that in with "L" brackets and ran some wire for speakers. My stock speakers were trash so this all inclusive package was perfect. Here's a pic of my setup.

It's a 6 cyl. Not sure what gears are in it but if I wanted to put new gears in it what should I go with for 32 or 33 in tires??

I know im a noob. What type of rear end do I have? Unsure what work if any the previous owners did. It's on my 88 yj. However I can't tell if it's a D35 or D44....

I was lookin at getting 1 1/4 in lift shackles for my 88 yj. Should I use shackles with greasable or not? Pros and cons? Any differences? Other than grease..
