Its a factory D44, and there is nothing holding the spring down in the rear. My D30 has the clamps that your talking about too.

I have a 2001 Tj, with a 4in lift and 33s D44 rear with a Detroit, and D30 front with an Aussie, AA SYE and Tom woods rear drive shaft. Yeah I know one of my bumper lights is bent...someone backed into it and I am just too lazy to fix it.

I had the hard plastic lower ones on my D35 when I bought the Jeep, but the D44 that I have now dosent have them at all.

I have a set of half doors off my 01 Tj, that I would like to trade for some full steel doors. any color My upper windows are shot so I would throw in some money for new upper door skins too. Sorry for the bad cell phone pics
