    JP magazine called the CJ3B . . . . .

It is not about asking a question it is the tone you asked it in. If you had spoken to me that way in person you would get knocked on your ass. But since I am getting beat up by you and by the flat fender boys I say **** you all!! BAN me Please ban me.

    Under hood welder

Someday I am gonna splurge and get the Ready Welder II and just carry that around. I love the option of MIG on the trail. I think it is $620 but I will find a used one for prolly half that if I am lucky. I just can't justify the box and alternator for the amount of time I would use it. For that...

    Under hood welder

I have not used the TIG. Just the ARC and MIG. I would imagine it is scratch though based on the original ARC and MIG being constant current. The newer Ready Welder II they offer now has cold start. The old one you had to keep your eye on.

    Under hood welder

It works great! I have installed several and although I do not own one I have used it on the trail in both the regular PPW and also with the PPW Ready Welder spool gun attachment multiple times on my jeep as well as on my friends jeeps. I have welded with the spool gun and two batteries as well...

    JP magazine called the CJ3B . . . . .

What is with the Tude anyway? And for that matter where do you get off talking that way to anyone? If you spoke that way to me in person you would find yourself getting up off the ground wondering what happened. Why not just ask a question instead of throwing your crap attitude at us? Wouldn't...

    JP magazine called the CJ3B . . . . .

It is called reading. If you read the first post which states that JP called the CJ3B "Visually Challenged". I never stated what they said about my TJ, and by the way you are asking I wouldn't pass it along anyway.

    JP magazine called the CJ3B . . . . .

Well said! Been a jeepin since 89 and although I have loved them all a lot of folks did not see and don't see the beauty we do in our jeeps. A few years back JP did a hit piece on the Rubicon edition jeeps. That was when my subscription was canceled. Seems pretty strange for a jeep magazine to...

    Camping w/ the Jeep

We have been using tent cots. We originally used the double tent cot but it was uncomfortable for me and is for sale. We are currently using two single tent cots, one standard and one oversize. They fit on my rack better and seem to be more comfy than the double. They set up quick are good in...

Stock 2006 Rubicon rock sliders?? HELP!

They are called rivet nuts. Little inserts that you stick into a hole and they can be crimped to hold in place. I pulled em out when I took mine off. Anyway they are threaded so you can use machine screws. Just an example JEGS Rivet Nut Tool and Retainer Kit - JEGS

i want to put a 5.2 or 5.7 in my yj what exactly do in need

You need a low mileage doner engine with exhaust including cats if you want to pass smog at least here in CA. You will need to pull the harness out of your YJ and either splice it yourself and figure it out yourself or you can send it off to a pro. I would suggest the pro as you will be swearing...

YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A REAL JEEP IF...

Happened with the CJ's but the TJ has a voracious appetite so it seems. I am on a twelve step program related to the belt loops but it seems like every time I get excited I forget and invariably ruin another pair of pants. Oh well small price to pay for where she takes me.

YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A REAL JEEP IF...

If every pair of pants you own has the same back belt loop ripped off from getting into your jeep!
