Jay, does it change or go away when you depress the clutch? if so, it could be the throw-out bearing. Mine is doing it a little. with the clutch out, it makes a rythmic "tick"

Snitty - do yourself a favor and drench the bolts on the firewall with some PB Blaster, they are very soft and will snap alot sooner than you think they will. -JP
