RHH,
What type of 31 x 10.5's did you put on your TJ? I am new at this too and am looking at either putting 31 BF All Terrains or spending a little more on 32 BF's + 2'' coil springs.[addsig]

Sounds like we are in the same situation. I have a soft top and drive mostly highway too. I just wanted to know how much more agressive the Muds looked then the AT's (if any). If they are extremely noisy on the highway, may be better to do AT's.[addsig]

This might sound dumb, but which part of a tire listing is the "width"? Ie. is there a difference between the following AT's:
31x10.5R15/C
31x10.5R16.5/D

Indiemo,
Are you happy with the look of your 31 x 10.5 AT's? I like that Yellow TJ on aev conversions website you referenced. What brand of tires are those and how much do they cost?

Bullet,
Great information. Thanks. What is a LT325/60R15/C AT?
I'm assuming, based on your comments, this tire will fit my 15 inch rims. How do you know the height (ie. 31'') and width (ie. 10.5) of this tire?[addsig]

No, I was looking at upgrading my current stock 30'' Wrangler Sport (15 x 8) tires. I was wondering how the MT/R's perform, look, feel, etc.

Bounty Hunter. Thanks for your great feedback on the MTR's. Ya, they quoted me at $189 a tire, which seemed extremely expensive.
How many miles do you have on your Radial Swampers? [addsig]

Nate,
I just bought a 2003 Wrangler Sport. I would like to put on 32'' inch tires that look pretty tough. The majority of my driving will be "highway" and not offroad.
Any recommendations?[addsig]

Hi C,
I am going to off-road, but the car is still going to have to use it to telecommute 90% of the time. So I am looking for something aggresive, that won't wear out after 30,000 miles.
Any thoughts on the BF Good "Mud Terrain" as opposed to the AT's?
Justin

I appreciate everyones feedback (especially on the use of the word "truck" instead of "car").
I'm leaning towards 31 inch BF All Terrain's. Do ya'll feel they are tougher looking then the stock 30 inch Goodyear Wrangler's that came with the truck?[addsig]
