Can anyone tell me why my oil pressure gauge max's out when i turn the key on???? Is it my oil sending unit? If it is, where is my oil sending unit, should i just run a direct line to a new pressure gauge????? Please help this bothers me. It keeps me wondering if im gonna blow up!!!!! :shock:

I took your advice and my jeep runs on all six cylinders. I changed plugs from a different cylinder and you was right i had a bad plug.....The weird thing is i just bought those plugs just a few weeks ago....Thats why I thought it wasnt that. I will probably go with the Motor Craft carb....I...

Sorry i forgot to say that I pulled the valve cover off and and grounded the coil and cranked over the engine.....the valve train was all even and seem to be in good working order...The reason i started pulling plug wires is because i would run the engine for a while and pull the plugs and check...

I would like to put 33's and a 4 inch lift. I would like to know how tall my jeep will be from the ground to the top????? I f anyone can tell me please me know. The reason I would like to know is to see if it will fit in my garage.... :?

I was wondering if I put a 4inch lift with 33 inch tires how tall would my jeep be? Is there any thing special that I need to do. Steering? brake lines? Transfer case? Etc.... I would appreciate the help

I was tuning on my carb today and i took a small screwdriver and pushed down on the float as the jeep was running and it seems to run better when I do this. Does this mean that the float is set too high? Or does this mean something else????

I checked all of my vacuum lines.....I was thinking that the jetting might be wrong...float assembly not quite right?????what was you saying about a thread on this board about adjusting it better??????

I Have an 88 wrangler with a 32/36 weber carb.....It will not idle....i thought it was in the timing, the plugs, wires, distributor, etc...I believe it is in the carb....the fast idle is ok....it seems to idle in park ok but not great.......it is when i put it into drive....it bogs down to low...
