thanks for the info i figured it would be best to just replace the cylinder while its already out. my jeep is an 89 cherokee. does not have air bag in steering. guess i'll have to remove steering wheel to get at cylinder,again thanks..marty

i am having sort of a wierd problem. in the morning i can't get my ignition to turn off all the way to remove the key. it is fine the rest of the day. it only sticks the first time each day. i have sprayed different cleaners in the key slot. but still sticks and have to keep turning off and on...

1989 cherokee, straight 6 with 392.000 miles ( thats the milage). i just purchased from original owner. passed california smog two with super low numbers. SOME THINGS JUST HAVE TO BE NOTED.
