The zj 44a is not the best axle. I think you can only put an aussie locker in them? is this right. Are they made by dana or american axle?

Pull the front driveshaft off and if the vehicle drives fine its probably your viscus. Rember to park flat and use your e brake because the vehicle will roll slowly in park. Found that out first hand when wife parked our GC at grocery store and it rolled into a Harley. Woops.

Check out treadwright.com They have great tires for the money. You can get a BFG all terrain with the BFG carcas. You have to specify that you want the BFG carcas or you might get something else. They call the BFG tread pattern the Warden. These tires are retreads but they are not your granddads...

I pull my 18ft skeeter bass boat with 115hp outboard with my 06 LJ rubi with 4spd auto and 33in tires with stock 4:10 gears. I don't live far from the lake. I use my 98 zj 5.2 to tow it elsewhere. The I6 does great but would do better with 4:88's!

The spacers go on top of springs usually. Not in the middle. You don't want to stack spacers generally. I would just stick with your setup for now untill you can do a proper 4in lift.
