    2005 Liberty Window

This AM when I started my Jeep I noticed the driver's side rear window was half way down. Tried to roll it up and heard a sound (from the window motor I guess) but no movement. The window can be easily moved up or down by hand so it appears to be no longer attached to the mechanism that operates...

2005 Liberty 3.7 Cat Connection to Manifold

Parts stores are having a hard time telling me what gasket or seal I need for the two connections (left and right of manifold) of the cat at the manifold. My direct fit cat would appear to require a round "donut" style seal, but they tell me there is also a 3-hole gasket for some applications...

Testing Cat Converter with Non Contact Thermometer

I saw on-line that a catalytic converter can be tested for function using a non-contact thermometer (laser thermometer), by measuring temps at front and rear of the cat. Normal function is indicated by the rear being hotter than the front by a good margin. Is this a reliable way to test the...

    2005 Liberty DTCs

Thanks for the advice! As for misfires/coils, does this engine have knwon issues relating to the coils themselves? The dealer said they can be touchy if subjected to much water. They cleaned the engine compartment with some kind of sprayer or pressure washer, and he attributed the cyl 4 misfire...
