just bought a 98 with the infinity sound system, the drivers door is blown and the passenger door does not make a sound. i would like to know the size of them so i can replace. them. i moved up from a 88 to a 98 cherokee.

what is the torque on the 4.2? i went to auto zone and got the bearings, they said 30 lbs. i did that , drove it and it started to rattle. they must be wrong!!! thanks, rick

there are not any straight six carb cherokees from the factory, it has the renix setup. do you have any idea what the markings on the side of the motor mean? thank you very much. btw are there any trails in the nashville area?

as i stated before it is a inline six, so therefore it must have six spark plugs. but i guess you knew that from reading the post. the question is how do i tell if it is a 4.0 or a 4.2.

i replaced the engine in my xj, it was a strait swap. on the side of the motor was stamped cj. can any one help me with the size of the engine. or tell me what to look at. btw thanks for answering the poll. ricpope
