hey all....1989 jeep cherokee 4x4 my plan now is to put a 3" lift on it but i don't like the little straight 6 cyl engine that i have, i've been told that its possible to drop a deisil engine in and drop a better transmission also.. my question is.. is that possible and what is a good size...

don't know if this is working... but i got an 89 cherokee and i need idea's on what i can do to it... it has a 6cyl in it all factory equip and 31's for tire's... i'd like to put a lift in it but unsure of what to do or get and how high.... any idea's plz let me know
