I read in the manual to use dexron II ATF for the transfer case (93YJ 4CYL). Can I use Dexron III ATF? is there that much of a difference? Nick

OK another problem, I went out and bought a Ft-lb torque wrench to torque the bolts on the clutch to the specified torque per the manual. however the manual does not give a specific torque for these bolts. The bolts are stamped 9.8 on the head which according to the manual are metric bolts, none...

OK I got the transmission off and there is no identifiable disconnect on the inside for that F'n hose, I am stuck!!! Theres got to be someone who has taken these off before, I will wait for your wisdom. Thanks Nick

Thanks for the info dingus I appreciate it. unfortunately it covers about as much as the haynes manual. I think I am going to have to drop the transmission first then disconnect the hose from inside the bell-housing. Nick
