I get around 16mpg and have a hard time going over 70mph. Mine has a B&M filtercharger. I do not know if it has any other mods, such as a new chip, but when i have the thing going a good rate and suddenly back off it reeks of fuel from the exhaust. I took it up to Manistee National Forrest this weekend and struggled with the front axle engagement. I gave up on 4wd and just two wheeled the two tracks.

I heard they were throwing all the parts laying around together and a lot of 2.5's got the auto trans when they bled out the last of the 6 cylinders to make way for the 4.0 retool. Its confusing to order a replacement, since the books claim all sorts of transmissions as being the right part. Mine is simply a 383 like the torqueflight.

hi Rio owner from Perry Michigan. Mine came with all the decals peeled off but the Rio name is on the registration. Mine was made so late the factory hood stops and mirrors are of the TJ design, My had no original radio, not even an antenna but has front speakers. 25 engine, auto with 3.73 gears. It now has an electric fan 4 inch lift and 31" Firestones.

Cool, we'll have to get the two clubs out on a wheel some day.

My club is tough to get together though, everyone seems to have other obligations on a given date. My job has me working some weekends at the last minute, so it's tough for me too.

My area is more to the South & west of Charlotte. Gastonia, Belmont, York, Clover & Rock Hill

There's a friend of mine who has a nice sized chunk of land. He holds events at his place about twice a year. He has a water/mud dragstrip, complete with 12 volt porta-tree.

The competitions are fun & friendly.
He usually posts up on NC4X4.com under wranglin101. the events are under 4leaf4X4.
I have a local Charlotte area club (free) called "Lake Wylie Wheelers" & your welcome to check out or join. You can find it in the links in my sig. I mod on both those boards.

You aren't too far from me, I'm just south of Gastonia.
