    Motorcraft Autospark ingition control module

My 81 CJ7 had the electronic ignition from the factory and it did have the resistor wire in the harness that I've replaced after having similar problems and fixed the issue. I have replaced it with an HEI awhile back and never looked back. Sent from my iPad using Jeepz

    Motorcraft Autospark ingition control module

I agree with the HEI upgrade however, check the wiring to the coil. One of the wires that goes to the firewall from the coil could be a resistor wire. It tends to break continuity when it heats up and give you a good signal when cold. Sent from my iPad using Jeepz

    O2 sensor question

Terry, if the wiring damage is far enough from the sensor , a wiring repair should fixit with proper insulation like a shrink tubes to cover the exposed wires after solder. Make sure the wiring is correct , not swapped in the wrong position. You will need to do a hard reset with the use of a...

HVAC Issue - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

Your first issue is likely to be an actuator issue. Mode actuator would exhibit that symptom on a dual climate. The second issue is likely a blower motor or a blower motor resistor module connector getting hot and losing continuity. Sent from my iPad using Jeepz

Could I put a JK stereo in my 2001 wrangler?

It's possible. Aftermarket radio installers will have to install a communication module if needed . The 01 is a PCI communication vs. Can bus communication on the 07. The only thing though is the Can bus radios are theft lock equipped. Sent from my iPad using Jeepz

    Brake pedal return spring?

On my 81 CJ7 the spring is to keep the pedal from rattling and keep a positive contact with the brake switch when it's not depressed. I haven't seen it on the manual but I believe it's supposed to be there. Sent from my iPad using Jeepz

    Rear lights not working correctly

Start with the basic checks. Check grounds on the rear lamps, power distribution center and battery grounds. Most of these components you've mentioned runs into a bulkhead connector on the center of the firewall , top of the valve cover. Check the connections there for issues like corrosion or...

    98 Grand Cherokee Electrical Problems

Try getting your battery tested first from a local parts store. Your meter might say it has the voltage necessary to start your engine but may have a bad cell. A load test should reveal that if that's the case. Sent from my iPad using Jeepz

No Idea What To Do Next...HELP!

Have you checked the fuel return line for kinks or obstruction?. If what you said is accurate that the float is not stuck, if the return line is obstructed , the weakest link is the float needle. The pressure will keep building up and load up the float bowl beyond its capacity. Firing order...
