Thanks :) A buddy of mine just told me about the 8.25 too and I think I'm going to do that instead. I'm running 33's and don't want to go any bigger so that's perfect. Has that rear end ever come with disks?

My rear axle bearings recently went out in my 89xj. I have decided that since the axle has to come out, and I have to spend close to $300 in parts, I might as well upgrade. I think I have decided on the Ford Explorer 8.8 axle with the disk brakes but I have some questions. -What else do I need...
