i have the EXact Same problem. but my jeep is a L6 4.0.
do you get oil In your AirBox?
Try to Clean the trottle Body.. that helped me a lil bit..
I too am looking for a Solution.
OK about this issue.. i cleaed my Throttle Body really good.. and.. it Ran a lil better.. but then it started to POP! Again..
I'm going to Record a Video about this.. in the Video you shoudl hear the Noises it makes.. etc.
This will be my Last Try to fix it myself.. if not.. i;m gonna have...

I think i might have to Buy a New EGR Valve..

Thats what i thought at First.. so i went to Autozone. and they told me.. My jeep don't need one..
I wish it had a PCV valve so i can fix it at no cost..

Meaning... my throttle body is throwning up oil..

When i drive, i cant go anywhere fast... i push the gas pedal.. and nothing .. i hear popping noise,

well i have my laptop right next to my jeep in my Garage, i'm going to try to find any hanging Lines.. and gonna try getting to the bottom of this..

Well.. i Have pin pointed the Vacuum Leak.. and it is on my throttle Body..
I have pointed out in the Pictures Below.. that it is the 2nd hole.. down that Hisses While the Engine is on..
