Thanks for all the information, guys. There are so many options, I like to get as much first hand knowledge as I can before making a decision.

I have read bad stories about lockers and light weight, short wheelbase vehicles. Especially if your rig isn't trail only. The write-ups about the Trutrac say it's an LSD under normal conditions but then acts more like a spool after it loses traction.

Anyone have experience with the Eaton Trutrac?

What a nightmare! I guess I need to find out what my rear end is supposed to look like. I was considering a Detroit Locker posi diff upgrade with one piece axles. Reviews for the Detroit are good but I haven't settled on the axle yet.
