Yeah, I do regular ol' 90w gear oil for the diff with a Dexron/Mercon ATF in the TC....

I would go out of my way to get a 4L (6cyl) with the manual AX15 transmissions.... '94 or '95 with the external slave for sure if you're going with a YJ...

I wonder why the TJs went to an inverted Y steering setup instead of the inverted T... Also if it were my jeep I'd build a bracket to reduce the track bar angle instead of trying to increase the drag link angle to make them parallel.

I agree with Felipe... But I wouldn't invest much time or money at all in the D35. Not only will the D35 break shafts but, when you do, you have to deal with the C-clip/drum brake design. If you really want the D35 locked then weld it up and keep your eyes open for a D44 or 8.8 to swap in...

Top gears look like 4.11 (37 ring teeth/9 pinion) and the second set are 4.10 (41 ring/10 pinion).... the others look like the diff covers.... there should be a number on the axle tubes which will give you more info about the axle than the cover....
