synthetic oil
bought a new/old jeep wrangler afew weeks ago..love it..question is...ive always used synthetic oil in all of my vehicles but right from the start...this wrangler has 50k miles on it and i know that they only used conventional oil..would it be too late now to switch to synthetic..?? if so what oil would you recommend...thanks...

You can change to synthetic, it will be fine.
Steeler Nation does not have to travel. We're already there.
Formerly a '97 TJ 4-banger restoration project. My daughter's rig but I bought stuff and tinkered with it.

I don't see a down side to switching. Though if you are in dust, dirt, or heat a lot, don't depend on synthetic to extend change duration.
