1955 Willys

I just got my 55 home! Will start working on it soon I hope. I have a few question if anyone can help.I have no brakes and will be looking for parts. I also want to change it from 6 volts to 12 volts, what will I have to replace? I will be doing a rewire job on it so what gauge wire should I be using? Thanks for any help. I have a 1955 Willys Wagon 4X4. I'm looking for a complete brake kit. All the parts for the rear brakes are in a box and have been that way for awhile by the looks of them. I was just told by Morris 4X4 center they are hard to find If you have any leads it would help. I'm in Florida but that does not matter that much sense I will probaly have to order them just the closer the cheaper. Thanks Darrell
