Hello all, I'm glad to be joining the forum. I have wanted a jeep since I was old enough to drive (many years). I found a 1980 cj7 had minimal rust and not banged up. I have the frame done, axles, trans, and transfer case rebuilt. Welded in a few panels on the tub, stripped and painted under side with por 15. Pics are posted in the build section of the forum. I installed a long block and was able to do the manufacture required 30 min run today. I will start stripping old paint in the next few weeks in preparation for priming. I absolutely love doing this kind of stuff. Oh, it didn't run lots of stuck valves and cylinder wear.

Welcome. Looks like you're off to a great start. I had a CJ7 for many years and loved it - POR 15 will be your friend.
