Re: Need help
I am not familiar with the Liberty, but on my TJ I would assume that it is a combination of tie rods and alignment. Generally, a steering wheel not returning to center is an alignment issue.

Any chance you could post a photo of the area you are talking about.
I've never worked on a 1993 Cherokee myself, but my 2005 TJ took quite a bit of work to lower the tank. I had to lower a few... -

Every suspension lift I've seen has been rougher than stock. Having said that, I really only have experience with Rough Country lifts.
You can lift your Jeep with a body lift, about 1 to 1.5... -

No, I didn't do anything like that.
Honestly, I'm learning as I go here - I had never had that much of the engine apart before. I may have to do more research into what you describe though. -

Re: Ball and U joint press
I've never used a press for the driveshafts or axles, since you can take them off the Jeep and work on a bench, I usually use two sockets (a big one to receive the cup, and a smaller one to pound it...

can you take the carrier off the Jeep?
If the mount is trash, you may try to use an angle grinder to cut it off from the back. -

I hadn't really thought that the fan would blow the oil back - makes sense.
I'll check my power steering levels, however it really does look like dirty oil. -

Where is this oil coming from?
I recently changed my rear main seal, so I had the oil pan removed. Before that, my jeep dripped a fair amount of oil from several locations (hard to tell with my oil pan skid plate). Now that the...

Looks good. I'm a huge fan of Crutchfield - they are very helpful, and they're based in my home state of Virginia.
They'll pricematch too, so if you see it cheaper on Amazon, they will match it. -

I've got a TJ with 2.5 inch suspension lift , a 1.5 inch body lift and 33s.

Hey Mingez! Hope you're doing good man.
I'm on the fence about the new Broncos. I loved the old ones (of just about any year). Maybe the new ones will grow on me.
