    That would have to be one big winch loaded for a long time to do that to a running Jeep. Cars run on the alternator when running, charging the battery. Now if your alternator died, different story....

    Is your proportioning valve on the frame? If you have headers might be too close to it, might have caused a leak. Just a thought, but lots of places there could be a leaky connection.
