    yes,the output speed sensor tells the transmission when to shift. it cost me $25.00 at the dealership, i changed it myself

    coolant sensor bad

    i have a 98 G.C. 5.9, every now and then the V.I.C. tells me i have a bad coolant sensor. i have changed both coolant level sensor and temp. sensor, does anyone have any ideas?

    i had similar problem on 98 gc it was the output speed sensor. it cost about $25.00 at the dealership.

    i know the blend motor is working.something curious though, when in the defrost mode hot air is coming out the floor vent but cold air out the defrost vent, when you change to any other mode its cold...

    coolant temp. is normal,both heater hoses are hot. i don't know if blend doors are actuating, how can you tell? i looked at some post didn't see same problem
