    Re: Motor upgrade

I don't have any answers for you (others will be along that know better than me), but I'd love to see some pictures of this thing.

    Re: Cheapish paint options

I've painted a few cars, and the supplies aren't really that expensive. I even shot my old CJ in the open driveway and it turned out ok. Painting is 80% prep and 20% spraying. Just get a $30...

Re: I bought a Grand Cherokee... I had to

I've never successfully done this. I've bought the kits (the kind you use with a drill), and cleaned up the headlights alittle, but I've never gotten the results you see in the video. It always...

That's awesome. I love a good deal. Are you going to keep it and drive it, or flip it?

    Re: Crazy morning

I had totally forgot that it was supposed to be tax day. I actually finished mine a month or more ago, but haven't filed yet. I usually let them sit a bit as I remember new deductions.

Re: Anyone else stuck at home?

I had a covid scare on sunday night - I had a fever, chills, the whole thing. Luckily the test came back negative, and I was fine in two days.

  10. Re: trouble removing d-rings shackles from my new to me rock slide engineering bumper

If they are like mine, they have a flat portion with a hole in it.

I know that you can put a screwdriver in the hole and twist. I've also used a very large crecent wrench (or regular...

    Re: Top Gear America

I never really watched Top Gear, but guys I've worked with have told me it's pretty good. I may have to check it out.

I'm a huge fan of "Dirt Every Day". It's the best 4x4 show on these days IMO

    Re: Aftermarket Switch Installation

I would shy away from cutting the console. I'd probably try and use an open (blanked out) switch panel. That's what I did on my TJ - I bought a switch for a hardtop rear wiper, and mounted in my...

Re: Track bar installation and rear alignment

You can cheap out like I did and get a rear track bar bracket:
    Amazon.com

or get an adjustable rear trackbar. Either way should work to center the axle under the Jeep.
