Think I got it fixed! Found a broken o ring in...
Think I got it fixed! Found a broken o ring in throttle body (injector o ring). Had gas in my oil so I changed oil and now hopefully everything is good.

My jeep is about ready for an oil change. This is my first jeep and would like some input on what's the best oil to put in it. It's a 2.5 L with 139k miles. Synthetic oil or not? 10w30 or what?...

Your luck sounds like mine lol! If it weren't for bad luck we would have no luck at all I guess. I really don't think mine is a serious problem but you can't never tell.

No mods to the motor. When I bought the jeep back...
No mods to the motor. When I bought the jeep back in Jan of this year the guy I got it from just had s new muffler put on. Ran perfect until a couple weeks ago. The cat is still on there.

no when I kill it it dies right then like it...
no when I kill it it dies right then like it suppose to. It's just real sluggish when taking off. Can smell a light gas odor. Starts up good also. No back firing at any time. No popping either I did...

Ok I changed air filter and put in new plugs and still have the same problem. Any mor ideas? Thanks. Btw plenty of spark from coil and dist. Would dry rotted vac lines cause this problem?

Tomorrow I will put new plugs in and check for...
Tomorrow I will put new plugs in and check for right gap and install new filter and I will let you know if that was my problem...I sure hope it is!

I have a good clean air filter. My plugs are just auto lite plugs. Never seen nothing like it. Tomorrow I am going to go ahead and change thermostats I figure it won't hurt.
