    Window Stuck down

that's good to know...i'v never seen it in a passenger door, mostly in driver doors in KJs and WJ's if power was checked at the switch it would have been a dead give away...everybody needs a test light.

    Code: PO171 Bank One Lean

hey, i see this a lot in caravans, never seen it in a jeep. i'v always come down to changing the fuel pump (but the problem is the pressure regulator). Or, it could be a restriction in a line. If you can get your hands on a fuel pressure tester, see if the pressure is high...then you know...

    Window Stuck down

does the switch on the pass. door make it go down? can you make it go up or down with the driver switches? take the terminals out the connector, turn them around and put them back in and see if the window goes up in the down position and down in the up position (which it shouldn't, because you...

Cherokee cranks over no start ,no gauges

how did they figure it was the computer? if the computer's bad it will set a cel, and give a pcm internal code..on the other hand they can do a cluster test with the drb to see if the clusters good. (if it's at a dealership...is it at a dealership?) the computer has to be programmed with vin...

    Clutch

who put the clutch in just a few thousand miles ago? my guess is it isn't malfunction in the parts and this is no offence to you or whoever put it in, but it's probably something to do with installation. did the flywheel get re-surfaced? most likely cause of a new clutch slip is grease or oil...

    jeep cherokee starting problems

transformer? a fuse or relay? i'm confused...what does almost dissapear mean? That reminds me of a guy I work with, he "fix" this truck and it came back with the same problem, and he said, and I quote, "I guess the repair didn't take." Well, that repair didn't take and neither did the 4...

Fire in the shop today !!

We had one of those "know it all" guys in my shop. Had a Chrysler with a fuel pressure problem. His way to test the pressure in the fuel line was to take off the line and watch to how fast the fuel would come out. Got the porter to crank it while he held the line in one hand and a cigarette...

    Liberty A/C

i'd guess a controll head. When it's not working you gotta check with a test light to see if there is power at the switch on the compressor, if there aint no power, it's the controll head. Just from working at a dealer, I know it don't take a week to get a part that needs to be ordered. I...
