Nth Degree Mobility Oil Pan Skid

Are you part of that shop? Those rear wheel trim are a great idea, especially if you could get them bigger than stock so you could hack your fenders and then cap 'em with those. They provide a nice balance to the tube fenders up front, without being enormous and heavy like crusher corners

    Fiberglass leaf springs? What?

that and fiberglass is pretty sensitive to light and solvents. Though they probably flex pretty awesome.

    ... Four Door Unlimited

I personally like it as much as any of the long wheel base Jeeps, I'd buy it if I needed the extra room; beats a rav4 or one of those honda box things that start with E but that I cannot remember the name of at this moment.

    Ford 8.8

Should be quite different, the link was more for the in depth look at the process than the details. You would just go off the measurements on your stock assembly, assuming you don't want to relocate your shock mounts or rotate the assembly up. NAXJA probably has the measurements in their...

    Ford 8.8

I checked again, the 8.8 is 1.25" narrower than the D35 (at least an 8.8 from a 95 or newer ford)- 5/8 inch per side ;) Though even then it may not matter, just depends on the tire/rim your going with. Here's a link to Stu's website, he's got a great write-up on the process (as well as most...

    Ford 8.8

its like 5/8 of an inch per side, most people are doing it with wheel spacers because they are cheaper than custom backspaced wheels

    Ford 8.8

OK4WD makes swappable 8.8 w/ 4.10, limited slip, and disc brakes for about $1500; though the way to do it now is to get a junkyard gem and put in the superior gears super 8.8, you get extra heavy shafts, it elimiates the C-clip, you get a locker, and it widens the shaft out to the stock Jeep...

If you need me I'll be off throwing a tantrum on my Swedish couch, in my Bangladeshi underwear, watching my Taiwaneese TV, while eating a asada burrito and drinking a New Castle. ;)

    rims

The main problem with the converters is price compared to just getting new/different rims. Usually like you say you save very little and then end up getting new rims anyway. The strength/stress is no different than having a rim with the same backspacing.

    Wal-Mart's perscriptions

Can't have all your employees all dyin on ya now! I can see both sides, I personally only go there a couple times of a year because they carry frozen crawdad tails. The rest of the time I avoid it like the plague because the whole place irritates me, from the tiny cramped aisles, to the...

    Wal-Mart's perscriptions

I find the reaction by the anti-crowd to this more interesting than anything else. Wal-Mart can't win, people are always complaining that they hate them for being uncompassionate and because of their lack of health benefits. Now they're to offer generic meds at $6 a prescription cheaper than...

    Whew!!! I've been swamped!!!

SSDD here, just a body doin' time. Though I did set up a pit for playing washers in the back yard last weekend. Probably will spend most of this weekend grillin, drinkin beer, and playing washers while enjoying the fabulous weather. Which I guess is kinda what I did last weekend...
