im runnig a galaxy DX959, bearfoot at the moment. i paid $100 for the antenna and mount. i will always recomend the K40 fiberglass. tunable tip no trimming involved to set SWR, the one i have is highly flexable. i can grab at either end and bend it 180 deg. dont get anything less than 4...

just have to show off a little not to worry, i still have my K40 fiberglass for wheelin. that one is for everything else.

nothing wrong with the old 23 channel radios. nothing at all. mine has 320 channels and everything in between.

3" on XJs is a very b-e-a-utiful thing. gives it that perfect look IMO. ultimatly i want a 6" and 33s for mine but i feel a 3" and 31s is perfect. congrats on your new babie. i hope she makes you happy as all get out. btw i still need to name mine
