Holy crap were you guys right about the shackles causing problems. i just got the time to install everything today and i figured i'd give the shackles a chance. i took it down the road and when i hit about 30 MPH it wants to go all over the place. I'm gonna swap them out with the factory ones...

oh that sucks. the reason i picked this one is i go surf fishing at the beach alot and i wanted to be able to use the lights with the windshield folded down.

like i said. pulling the wheels off is the easiest way. i have done many an axle swap and i've NEVER done one with the wheels on

is that a carr folding rota-bar on your jeep. i ordered one from quadratec and the instructions were missing. so i called carr twice and the supposedly were gonna send me some. over a month now and still haven't received anything.

what year are the shackles for?

do you have your tires off while doing this. if not that is gonna make it a whole lot harder
