    Tj regearing

Depends on what gears you have now as to whether you need new carriers or not. You'll need full set up kits which include bearings, seals and new gear bolts. If it's not something you've done before pay someone because tolerances are in the 100ths of inches and if it isn't right you'll be...

Educate me on an Aussie locker.

I ran them in my stock axles front and rear and in 2wd the front isn't noticable except in parking lots making sharp turns, then you get a clicking noise from it ratcheting.

    Rear should have one.

    2 steering stabelizer (SP) shocks

Like stated one works fine, I haven't run one at all for years and it rides fine.

    shifter length

Not sure what you got but when I did a body lift on my old CJ I bought an extension that just screwed onto the shifter. I think I got it at Autozone or one of those kind of places.

    UPGRADING! with ales and gears

What are the front gears out of, if it's the Grand the rear came from they won't work in your front D30. YJs are high pinion and ZJs are low pinion.

    UPGRADING! with ales and gears

Find a spare set of shafts because these aren't much stronger than your current 35. I'm guessing it's a lockright locker since that's one of the few you can get for it. I'd say truss it but I'm not sure how you'd tie in the center section. Good luck with your swap.

    UPGRADING! with ales and gears

The 44a uses a different carrier than a 44 so only one or two lockers and c-clips will let a wheel come off with a broke shaft. Disc help but backing plates can bend driving with a broken shaft. The aluminum housing is weak and the steel tubes can spin in it because you can't weld them...

    1988 Cherokee 4.0 4x4 front suspension

Really depends on how loose it is. They have been known to come apart but I'd say it would have to be real loose or in a bind.

    UPGRADING! with ales and gears

I'd suggest keeping your current lift since you have it. New springs and steering can get pretty pricey. Make sure the 44 is from a Cherokee not a Grand Cherokee. Grands have rear disc but are actually a 44a and have almost no aftermarket support, a weak aluminum housing as well as c-clip...

    1988 Cherokee 4.0 4x4 front suspension

The bar is called a drag link and that is a tie rod end that threads onto the end of it. If you have movement in it then it's worn out and needs changed. The bolt part of it is tapered and will only tighten so much. They can be a pain to get out especially if the bolt spins but a good tie rod...

    Part-time light

Full time is fine but part time is bad on pavement and can mess up a t-case.

    dana 300 t-case

They make flip kits so you can run them as a driver drop but most don't oil well and leak. They are great cases, strong and no chain to wear out but not great for wranglers unless you plan on an axle swap, cutting up the floor and redoing your exhaust.

    Part-time light

I'm guessing you have a 231 t-case it the light works off the vacuum just like the front disco axle. The switch for it is on the passenger side firewall. Just follow the lines. Sounds like it's stuck or gone bad.

YJ Mix and Match -speedo gear

Most likely a NP231 but you never know and they have 2 different types of speedo gears. Look at the back of the case and there should be a round tag that will tell you what case you have.

ABS light is on - wiring issue?

You could splice them but mine were long enough with a 6" lift, just pull a bit more slack.

Curious where you were wheeling that that was there. We just use winches and come a longs.
