    dropping my transfer case...

Look for shiny metal on the driveshaft yoke ears. If it's not shiny and worn look elsewhere for your problem.

    Putting Tires On

Why didn't you mount the 35's on the wheels in your sig picture? When you say Dana 44's are you referring to Rubicon axles or have you swapped in some other D44's?

Let's make the definitive list of what to bring off road

A pair of decent ratchet straps. I have used these for holding gear together all the way to locating the axle in place of a broken spring. You might consider a jump box instead of jumper cables and air pump. I have one that I purchased from Sam's Club. It has a 450 amp jump start capability...

    What T-case/Trans for My CJ?

The T-18 is nice, but the Dana 20 will be a weak link. You should look into swapping a Dana 300. You will need an adapter to mate the 300 to the T18, but even then you will come out cheaper than buying a low gear set for the Dana 20 that will likely break anyway. Back in the day I broke one...

    Super Swampers Destroyed my ride

Most folks that buy boggers aren't running them on their daily driver. They are a rough ride on the street, but get them in the mud and you will be in love. In my experience, I have found that Interco bias plys handle like crap when inflated to normal pressure. They walk the road like mad...

    Lincoln locker

90% of the carnage I've seen on D30 front ends and even D44's for that matter is from improper gearing and/or not knowing when to let off the throttle. It usually goes something like this: increased throttle to compensate for poor gearing gets tire spinning, spinning front tire lifts, spinning...

    What's your Jeep Biography?

First Jeep was an 85 Cherokee 2 door. This Jeep somehow had the oddball 4 cylinder Iron duke and 4 speed manual. It was supposed to have the newer 4 cyl for that particular year. Who knows, it was still AMC back then and they were known for that kind of stuff. I ended up putting a 4" lift...

    Electric Jeep Coming?

The drawback to that particular Jeep as far as offroading goes is that it is a ghey 2wd model. I would imagine that if they do make it in a 4wd version, it will be pretty heavy. I'd still take one though.

What Do You Hate About Your Jeep?

The only thing I don't like about mine is that, like so many other motorsports, it eats $100 bills like candy.

    What's the WORST Olympic sport?

Badminton. I mean if you are going to go with Badminton, what about Darts and Horseshoes?

    Teracon

Wow, that's like a $10k increase over the Rubicon model. I don't see it. What I do see is that the brake line is almost touching the wheel in that one pic.

    electric impact wrenches

I had a Black and Decker Electric corded impact. Worked great but still made noise. Oil-less are compressors are noisy and irritating. If you have one of those types then you would also benefit from closing it in. I have one of these and it is pretty quiet Husky 2.0 Running HP 26 Gal Vertical...

    Axle swap to disc brakes?

Why not just junkyard source the 03 to 06 Rubi 44 rear and get discs and a locker? It will have 4.10 gears you will have to match if you don't already have them.

    i need a bikini top

That bar is called the windshield channel. If you already have it then just order the top in whatever color you need. Best Top makes good ones or you can go for one of the off brands which are almost identical. Quadratec, 4wd Hardware, 4Wheel Parts or just about anyone should have them.

(sniffle, sniffle) They towed my Jeepy away..

Never heard of a petcock opening itself up and dumping it's contents. Also shouldn't have rusted through if you had antifreeze in there. They used to be brass, which wouldn't have rusted anyway. Not sure what they are made of now.

    YJ overheating?

He may not have the Heated O2 with the Howell kit. Heated = 3 wire, standard =2 wire. Either way, Terry is right, you cannot manually adjust the mixture. It has to be done in the fuel table programming in the computer. I doubt if that is the problem anyway, unless you are running a non-stock...

    Tennessee wheeling pictures(sorry 56k)

I talked to some of my riding buddies and we're interested in getting up a trip. Don't know when yet, though. I can see that rock slab getting dug out at the bottom rather quickly. It will be even more difficult if you can't get a run at it.
