well I am going to take the transmission out tonight and see what kind of damage if any has occured. If it's not bad then I plan on keeping th transmission for now, at least until I can afford a better one. I was hoping to seal up the vent and possibly relocated it. any takes on a good method...

I haven't had the time to take it apart yet. So I don't know exactly how bad things are in there. Anything I should look for? Anyway of flushing any excess water and junk to get it back to normal? If not what type of transmission should I look into getting?

Well we drained all the bad fluid out after it started leaking. I was hoping I just busted the seal or gasket. We disconnected the hose from the trans cooler, then poured new fluid in until the normal color came back. I tried driving it but it seemed like it wasn't shifting into 3rd. Then...

Well this weekend I went through a little too much water for my 95 YJ 4 banger. The transmission took in too much water. Looks like I may have to get a new one or rebuild it. Any suggestions on getting a different transmission so this doesn't happen again??? Any better transmissions that...
